When we stop our treatments,

a lot of people think we're no longer ill.

except that we have a lot of after-effects,

and we have to repair those after-effects.

In February 2022, I was diagnosed with
triple-negative breast cancer

and I was told that I had to start the medical protocol

because it's a very aggressive cancer.

At the beginning of March, I will start 16 sessions of chemotherapy,

I'll have a lumpectomy,

I'll have 18 sessions of radiotherapy...

During the treatments, we have discussions between patients

young women had told me about spa treatments,

and so had my family.

I absolutely wanted to do one

because it marked the end of all my treatments,

and the opening of a new page in fact.

I think I was right to come to Saint-Gervais,

Because the setting is magnificent,

Because you're facing the mountains.

We're very well looked after, we're fully looked after.

It's not just what happened to the breast,

It's the whole body, the state of mind, the physical state...

and it feels good, really really good.

I'm a fan of: In the event of a small victory, I give myself a gift.

And I think I've fought a good battle,

So I treated myself to the Viva cure.

We have workshops on dietetics, relaxation therapy, adapted sport...

During our treatments, we have to put up with a lot because

we have to take care of ourselves, we take heavy treatments.

My story begins in April 2022.

I have a mammogram, and then...

time is long, in fact.

It's a long time before the person comes back,

and the knife fell.

I was told I had a...

injury.

The ground gives way... So what do we do?

What do you do once you've been diagnosed

that it's breast cancer?

On 18 May, the surgery was performed.

The rest was very hard.

I'm in so much pain

to the point where I couldn't move from my bed.

I had the appointment with the surgeon,

and he admitted me to hospital.

Infection, skin necrosis...

Everything was removed.

The fat, the skin...

Heavy treatment at home, I'll be discharged

after 15 days, continued hospitalisation at home...

So the process goes on,

with the chemo phase and then the radiotherapy phase.

Dad suggested I come with him to Les Houches.

We went through the lower part of Saint-Gervais and I told him

"But are there any thermal baths there?"

I sent myself for a cure, in fact.

It was the first project I'd actually had

for so many months.

It's a project for me, to feel well, to feel good,

and it's my oxygen bubble, really.

The spa park, just that, is magical for me.

It resonates with me, this nature, this open setting, the water.

It's everything that makes you want to push yourself.

That's what triggers it!

It's what makes everything suddenly possible again,

and seeing those mountains, that extra bit of weather that changes,

it makes you
