Asthma is an inflammation of the airways.
Symptoms may include difficulty in breathing, shortness of breath or a feeling of tightness in the chest. It leads to asthma attacks of varying severity.

Treatments prescribed by the spa doctor and carried out every day:
DRINK CURE "thermal water": you'll benefit from the anti-inflammatory properties of thermal water from the inside out, revitalising your body.
GARGARISME with thermal spring water: gentle cleansing of the oropharyngeal region.
THE NASAL BATH gently irrigates the nasal cavities.
THE NASAL SHOWER with thermal spring water: under pressure, decongests the respiratory mucosa.
SPRAYING a filiform jet of thermal water through a sieve into the mouth to bathe the throat, tonsils and pharynx.
HUMIDATION the inhalation of hot thermal steam liquefies nasal and bronchial secretions and facilitates their expectoration
SIMPLE AEROSOL this device, which comes out of the mask, emits 2 to 5 micron particles of thermal water that reach deep into the respiratory tract. These particles line the mucous membrane of the bronchi and are effective against lower respiratory infections.
SONIC AEROSOL a low-frequency sonic vibrator coupled to the individual aerosols transmits a certain energy to the particles, enabling them to reach the narrowest bronchial tubes and the sinuses.
EMANATORIUM free breathing in an atmosphere rich in minerals and thermal gases.
Complementary care provided by your spa doctor :
PROETZ Proetz displacement method: this allows the thermal water to penetrate directly into the sinus cavities adjoining the nasal cavities.
PHARYNGAL SHOWER A jet of pressurised thermal water is projected to massage and clean the back of the throat, and the tonsils in particular.
TUBAR INSUFLATION The doctor introduces thermal sulphurous gases into the ear to ventilate it through the Eustachian tube. (Treatment not currently available, replaced by MANOSONIC AEROSOL, specifically designed to treat tubo-tympanic conditions such as ear infections).
RESPIRATORY RE-EDUCATION
In addition to the cure, you can, on medical prescription, undergo respiratory re-education (physiotherapy) and bronchial drainage by massage. This reinforces the benefits of the cure by helping to clear the airways.
HEALING & SOOTHING
Thanks to its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, the sulphur thermal water decongest and heal mucous membranes.
It also strengthens the immune system. The sulphur contained in thermal water helps to regenerate the mucous membranes of the throat. In the months that follow, breathing capacity improves significantly.
